Our therapists at Mesquite are educated and trained as Clinical Social Workers which means that we are knowledgeable of both normal and abnormal human development, behavior, and psychology. We understand that none of us exists in a vacuum; we are all affected by many factors, circumstances, and systems.

Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) helps people who struggle with shame and are highly critical of themselves to develop compassion for self and others.
STRENGTHS-BASED
Strengths Based Therapy focuses and builds on the client’s strengths, resources, and resiliency rather than weaknesses or shortcomings.
CLIENT-CENTERED
In a Client-centered (also called Person-centered) approach to therapy, the client and therapist are seen as equal partners in the therapeutic process.
