Roxanna graduated from The University of Texas in El Paso, Texas with a Masters degree in Social Work. She is currently a license master social worker (LMSW) and has completed her supervision hours towards her license under the supervision of Patricia Monterey, LCSW-S and is currently in the process of working towards her LCSW license. Roxanna has extensive experience working with individuals and families under palliative and hospice care. Her experiences involve treating individuals with crisis, anxiety, depression, caregiver burnout, grief and loss. Her practice skills and interventions consist of Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), facilitating group therapy and traditional talk therapy.

Every person grieves differently depending on personality, coping style and how significant the loss was to you. Grief takes time and healing happens gradually. Roxanna is here to provide support and help you pick up the pieces and move forward with life one step at a time.
